I've uploaded a 'Making Of' video to youtube. The video is nearly ten hours worth of recording sped up somewhat to make it only eight minutes of video. A few bits are missing from the video, some didn't record for whatever reason and others, such as the modeling of characters and sets, didn't get recorded. I'll try to record EVERYTHING next time. Daily Characters are BACK!
Actually, they've been back a while I just forgot to update my journal here.
They're not quite 'daily' at this stage, I have SO much work to do that some days I have to skip drawing a new character.
I may start doing full colour versions soon as well. I seem more confortable with the way I'm producing these drawings that going to full colour won't be a huge chunk of extra time. We'll see. Maybe :)

Daily Character on hold...
...for a few weeks at least.
The deadline that I had the other day has turned in to a huge task that requires three weeks of solid, too-few-hours-in-the-day work. So I will have very little time for anything else.
I will try and get a few characters drawn, but can't promise them on a daily basis like I have been.

Deadline madness and no Daily Characters! :(
Hey all,
You may have noticed the lack of daily characters for the last three days, something I am NOT happy with. I hope to remedy this situation ASAP.
Anyways, the reason for the lack of updates has been because of a serious deadline I was under, for yesterday, so I was working all through the weekend, nights included, and only averaged abut three hours sleep a night. Which didn't leave any time for my characters. Not good, but work needs to be done.
I'll be back on it as soon as I can.

Daily Characters
I'm sure those of you following my dA page have noticed the regular posting of new characters every day, and that is because I am creating a new character every day. I call it 'Daily Character', and the task I have set for myself is to produce a new character every day. This keeps me drawing, keeps me thinking about characters, thinking about creating, and just having fun. There are so many possibilities for characters that I can certainly keep this up for a very long time.
Some days I have a very good idea of what I want to draw, other days I simply let the ideas come to me as I begin drawing, which can end up having some rather pleasant su
